Additional lights
Light bar on the front plus marker lights on the rear
My '09 Yamaha YBR 125 Custom
I have purchased a Yamaha 125cc YBR Custom, and I like
many others have problems with the lights.
I purchased the bike 7 months ago and have added a light bar
on the front with two 12v 15w halogen spots and two 12v 15w
marker lights on rear.
The problem now is that after an hour the battery goes flat.
I need to upgrade the alternator, but cannot find the
specifications of the actual alternator that is already
fitted, and not sure if I can upgrade to a larger
unit.
Additional chrome and the light bar

To solve the problem at the moment I have disconnected the
headlamp bulb and use only the spots, but when I get home I
must put the battery on charge ready for the following day.
So it is not a final solution for my problem.

The future plan now is for the engine to be chromed,
then more blue LED pin lights will be hidden in the frame
work so that it shows or reflects on the engine at night
time.
The wheels are at the moment alloy but these I would like to
have chromed as well.
My YBR Custom with its tank pad
I have put up some extra cash for a few other items as
well but do not know if they will go ahead.
When the bike is finished and up to a good standard it will
be shown at the famous
Ace Cafe in London, and
hopefully win a prize, that's my aim to build a show
bike.
